Review
There don’t seem to be too many Mechatronics books on the market, but from my limited search, this seemed to be one of the better ones. Recently updated to the third edition. Mechatronics is the subject of using electronics to control mechanical and electrical systems, and I thought it would be useful model engineering projects.
I haven’t read the entire book yet, but early impressions are promising. The early chapters on the sensors and signal conditioning are informative and give useful practical knowledge. There are self-study questions at the end of each chapter, with answers in the back.
I will be keen to see how useful the section on microcontrollers is, since this is an area I hope to use in future model projects.
I will update this review when I have finshed studying the book.
