Review
Really good book for amateur foundrywork. I have not yet put it into practise, but would have a clear view on how to proceed. The book seems focused on iron castings. I would have liked more on casting aluminium as I see this as being of more use to me in the future. Also, coverage of other mould-making materials than sand would have been of interest, e.g. making moulds from plaster as is done for some lost-wax casting I understand (the plaster is disolved in a water-jet after casting).
