Purchase Drawings
I plan to make drawings and illustrated construction notes available for sale in due course. Please contact me to register your interest.
Please provide plan info and cost
Dave, thanks for your comment. I am about to start building the prototype engine in order to prove the initial drawings and allow any necessary corrections to be made. I hope to complete this later this year, in which case drawings could be available towards end 2013. My initial thoughts are to provide them in hard copy, optionally laminated. As for cost I would imagine in the order of £50 for the drawings and maybe a bit more for construction notes. I haven’t worked through the economics of it yet though. Delighted to keep your email on record if you are interested.
Best regards,
Alex.
Alex this sounds like another build on the must do list, I can already see a couple of planes this would fit nicely in 🙂
Look forward to following your progress.
Glenn
I’m going to start building the prototype of this engine in the next few days. Might take some time to complete. I am building the single cylinder 5cc and 10cc engines at the same time!
can we buy these engines?
Hi there, the engines are just being made for my own amusement and are not going to be available for sale. If they work I hope to make the plans available for sale one day! Thanks for your comment.
Hi Alex, I am liking the compact and clean design. I would be interested in the AMD20IL4 and AMD40IL4 engines. Keep up the good work.
I am building a hot rod at the moment with the OFFY engine, but struggling with the crankcase, as my lath is a bit small. Will probably need to get engineers to help.
Regards
Hi Michael, thanks for your comment! I am progressing quite well with the engines and I will try to upload some more photos soon. Good luck with the hot rod, sounds like a fun project!
Any updates on the engine? Would love to see it working.
It’s getting closer to completion but the finishing off is taking longer than I would have liked!
